G5 therapy is a form of mechanical vibration or percussion therapy commonly used in physiotherapy for soft-tissue treatment. It produces rhythmic vibrations that may help reduce muscle tightness and spasm, improve local circulation, decrease pain and promote soft-tissue relaxation. It may be used for muscle stiffness, back and neck pain, sports-related muscle tightness and selected soft-tissue problems. It is used as an adjunct to other physiotherapy treatments and should be avoided or used cautiously with acute inflammation, fractures, open wounds, blood-clotting problems or severe vascular disorders.

It may be used for back and neck pain, joint pain, muscle pain, sports injuries, postoperative pain and other musculoskeletal conditions. Treatment intensity and mode are adjusted according to the patient’s condition and tolerance.

Electroson 900 provides therapeutic ultrasound at commonly used 1 MHz and 3 MHz frequencies. The 1 MHz setting reaches deeper tissues, while 3 MHz is used for more superficial tissues. Continuous ultrasound is selected mainly for thermal effects, while pulsed ultrasound places greater emphasis on non-thermal effects. When appropriately applied, ultrasound may help reduce pain and muscle spasm and improve tissue extensibility and mobility.

Traction 500 supports controlled cervical and lumbar traction. Cervical traction may help reduce neck pain, muscle spasm and pressure on cervical nerve roots in selected conditions. Traction is prescribed and adjusted according to diagnosis, symptoms and tolerance because it is not appropriate for every spinal condition.

Paraffin wax bath therapy is a superficial heat treatment that provides comfortable heat to areas such as the hands, feet and other small joints. It may help reduce pain and stiffness, improve circulation, increase joint mobility and improve soft-tissue flexibility. It is commonly used before exercise or mobilisation for selected chronic joint stiffness and soft-tissue tightness.
